Trinity developed a bespoke back end ticket redemption system and the hand held scanner applications for YourRail’s roll out to Chiltern Railways and Shropshire & Wrexham Railways. Train managers each have a hand held scanners to allow them to scan mobile and other barcoded tickets. The scanners then synchronise with a central database when available to ensure tickets are all valid.
