Slammin' Vinyl's Westfest 2009 is the biggest dance festival in the West of England. Held at the Royal Bath & West Show Ground on 31st October 2009 . The event had sold out week's before due to it's incredible popularity. This year, for the first time, organiser Slammin' Vinyl decided to send out all the tickets via mobile. 8,500 people turned up to the event with mobile tickets on their phones making it one of the biggest mobile ticketed events to be held in the UK ever. The tickets were swiftly and efficiently validated in record time allowing ticket holders to get on with the main goal of the night - having a great time! Never before had the organisers been able to get so many people in so fast and ensure that there were no invalid, copied or fraudulent tickets allowed entry.
