Capital FM, XFM, Choice FM and Galaxy FM have all joined the mobile ticketing revolution. XFMs 10th birthday celebration gigs were all mobile ticketed events with bands such as The Kooks, Razorlight, Hard Fi, KT Tunstall, Kaiser Chiefs, Pigeon Detectives all playing gigs. Competition and prize draw winners were sent mobile tickets for these special secret gig events on the afternoon of the event, informed of the venue and then turned up, scanned and entered the venue for a great night’s entertainment. Global Radio staff managed the entire process from their desks and enjoyed hassle free event organisation.
